Martina Björklund (Ph.D. Åbo Akademi University, Finland) <mbjorklu@abo.fi> is a senior lecturer in the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Åbo Akademi University. Her publications include Narrative Strategies in Chekhov's The Steppe: Cohesion Grounding and Point of View (1993) and about 15 scholarly articles. Her research interests include text linguistics, pragmatics and cognitive linguistics.
