Anne Stepan Keown (M.A. 1999, Ph.D. candidate, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) <askeown@email.unc.edu> is a graduate student in the Department of Slavic Literatures and Languages at the University of North Carolina. Her specialization is Slavic linguistics, with emphasis on Russian, Czech, and Polish. Her dissertation is a cognitive linguistic analysis of pronominal address forms in Russian, Polish, and Czech. She anticipates completion of her degree in May 2004.
