Mateusz-Milan Stanojevic (Ph.D. Candidate in Linguistics, University of Zagreb, Croatia) <matstanojevic@yahoo.com> is a teaching assistant at the Department of English, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. His dissertation deals with cultural and diachronic metaphor variation, with a focus on Middle and Modern English. His research interests also include cognitive linguistic contrastive analysis of Croatian and English, with regard to grammatical and translational issues.
