na otázky:
(1) You are at your acquaintance's
house. After a nice conversation, you notice a lot of dirty dishes on the table
and you want to volunteer to carry them off the table to the kitchen. How would
make your offer? (use "to všechno" to refer to everything)
(2) You are impatient with your
friend who doesn't have any concept of time. What would you say when you want
to draw his attention to time.
(3) You see an ill-disciplined
child. Comments on his future?
(4) Someone unqualified tries to
advise you, but you know that he/she is not in a position nor has the
qualification to do so. React with irony.
(5) You see someone stepping on a
bed with his/her shoes on. You need to stop him/her.
(POZOR: Be careful treating beds
in general when you are in Czech Republic. Many people frown at someone putting
his/her feet on the bed with shoes. It’s not considered to be good manners to
sit or lie on a bed with trousers for outdoor activities, either.)
(6) Show how impressed you are
with someone’s idea.
(7) Tell children to go wash their
hands.
(8) What’s a convenient way to
deliver commands without thinking too much about imperative mood formation
(hint: you only need to remember the imperative form of one verb related to
going and add another verb in the infinitive).
