At the SEELRC conference I learned how easy it is to make a web page, which I'm going to do for my Russian class; ways to balance the learning needs of language beginners with those of heritage speakers; how to explore the rich potential of the web for interactive language learning. Thanks to the organizers, Profs. Edna Andrews and Laura Janda, not only for their incisive talks but also for their warm southern hospitality. We all had so much fun and learned so much that we vowed to keep the conference a secret amongst ourselves, a vow which I'm breaking because it would be selfish to keep such a powerful resource to ourselves.
