    The second annual Summer Institute for Instructors of Slavic and East European Languages took place from August 1-10, 2001 on the campuses of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Topics included:

    • the use of technology in the language classroom,
    • using computer technologies to create pedagogical materials,
    • teaching film and culture,
    • integrating heritage students in the classroom, and
    • internet resources for Slavic and East European language teachers.
